Case Fans

Thread Starter
I'm trying to improve my case airflow. Can anyone recommend some better fans?

My setup as of now:
3 x 200mm Cooler Master - Front intake, side intake, top exhaust
2 Noctua 120mm - Rear exhaust, bottom intake

For all I know, I might not be able to improve this, but just curious to hear if there are some better options.

From what I hear 200mm fans are not that great. wait an see what other people say.

If that is the case then stick to 120mm and 140mm.

Good 120mm - Gentle typhoon, Nexus real silent (yate loon basically). I am not keen on noctua from personal experiance, not as great as they make out.

Good 140mm - Thermalright X silent or TY-140.

I have the HAF 932 at the moment, and Im happy with the coolermaster 200mm fans, I changed the door intake and roof exhaust for the coolermaster 200mm LED lights.

I added a 120mm intake fan to the bottom of the case, changed the stock 140mm rear exhaust for a better 140mm.(I also removed the case mesh grill)

Then added another 140mm LED intake at the front, that sits perfect in the 5.25 bays.

I replaced a single 200m TOP exhaust fan with 2 x 120mm fans and saw a temperature drop of about 2C across all my hardware. Hope that helps
