Lol, also helps to have 600 fans and water cooling.

LOL, yes it does. What i was simply showing was the NB temp and not so much the cpu (not a fair comparison due to WC). Bare in mind though 3 of those fans are on the radiator. Also shows what a little air flow can do when properly directed. Yes I do have a lot of low speed fans but he's only at 3.6GHz and temps look high to me.
Top fan 65cfm exhaust
Rear 65 cfm exhaust
Side 30 cfm intake
Front 40 cfm intake for HDD's
80mm internal mounted behind optical drive bay might be 20-25 cfm for ram cooling

yeah, that's typical of a nrothbridge heatsink with inadequate cooling.
(possibly not enough TIM)

My Classy 3 would regularly hit 85c because of insufficient tim on the massive NB heatsink that was flimsy at best. I replaced the tim and reinstalled the sink and got a good 10c drop. (then slapped a waterblock on it and really hit bottom)

What im still wondering is how the machine was even able to run at such high temperatures... you would thing I would get BSOD constantly.

I'm not sure about your BIOS but in mine I can enter "PC Health Status" and this tells me correct CPU temp & Mobo temp. I can then match them to the correct temps that HWMonitor displays. You know for sure then which is which.
