2500k voltage offset bsod

Thread Starter
Currently at 4.8 with manual on 1.42 - 1.425v with more testing. I wanted to set up an offset voltage and tried to set up with the following (samething as this):

CPU mult: 47x
Offset voltage: +0.06
LLC: High
Additional Turbo Voltage: 0.020
Everything else on auto (cpu pll, vccio)
Power saving off (EPU)
(C1E, etc) ON

I can stay stable for about 15 minutes with prime small fft with 1.396 - 1.41v until a 124 bsod. I also got bsod on idle just browsing and not running prime small fft. Any recommendations? Thanks

Recommendation: Don't use offset voltage.

If it worked, you would only save 5-8W at idle anyway. I had stability issues with offset and since switched to manual. Zero problems with manual.

Im having the same problem with offset.. Wouldnt using a manual vcore cause faster degration since u are constantly appling a higer vcore then needed at idle?

I don't worry about it. Voltage is only part of the story. You have to worry about current as well. At idle, the current is lowest.

using manual voltage my current on idle is roughly 15w, in prime on load its average is 100w. This is with all safety features on ie. speed step, c1e etc.
