Project MATX: Lian-Li PC-V351 WC Worklog

Thread Starter
So, I built a HTPC a month or so back and was fairly happy with it. I had a H50 just laying around so I decided to have a little fun with it. I love this case, it almost hurt my feelings drilling holes in it, *almost* Enjoy the work log, any questions or comments are welcome!

Hardware Used: AMD Phenom II B65, MSI 880G mobo, Radeon HD6870, 2x Thermaltake Thunderblades, Corsair H50, Swifttech micro res, Tygon 1/4" ID tubing, BT barbs, Fesser1 Coolant, LG BluRay Drive, 2x WD black 1TB HDD, 1x WD black 500GB, Raidmax 630W Modular PSU, Gskill Ripjaws DDR3-1600 8-8-8-24

Getting Started.

Before Shots, also contain my only dislike for this case. No real room for cable management!

Mobo Removed.

H50 Tear down.

Nice finnage corsair!

No room for clamps!

Clean and ready to go.

Mounted.

Holes

Rad mounted, makes its VERY interesting when plugging anything in, but i will be getting longer stand offs soon.

5 minutes, an old thunderblade, and a dremel. Now I have a shroud!

Getting bubbles out and priming

Finished!

Operational

Didnt have time to really fool with other overclocking tonight, just cranked the multi and gave some extra voltage to see heat soaked temps.

ATM B65 @4.0Ghz Soaked @50c on a 2 hour prime. No to shabby IMO.

Thanks for looking!

Small change, with more changes to come. Moved the res towards the back as I was unhappy with the first outcome.

I plan to remove the two 120mm fans in the front and modify the fan holder. I will mount a dual 120mm rad to the loop and cool my video card as well. I also plan to fabricate a box to cover the PSU and the space between it and the 5.25 drives, this will clean things up a good bit.

Very nice! I'm planning on getting this case and modding it to fit a dual rad and a window.

That's pretty awesome, man. I did a V351 for my gf and it was a total pain in the ass to work inside, I can't imagine doing WC inside one. Awesome work and +Rep!
