Budget Build for World of Warcraft - Page 7

If you can spend 600-700 here's what I'd get.

$40 case
$40 500GB HDD
GTX 460 1 GB
630 watt PSU
4GB Ram 1600 DDR3 $45 with promo
CPU+mobo i3-2100

Plus here's a promo for $10 off win 7 64bit OEM - EMCKFKJ48

In my cart it's $677.77 shipped. Plus $40 in rebates so around $640 altogether. If you can spend 30 more bucks I'd buy the Storm Scout case if you like to LAN with your GF (don't know if you live together).

It's down to $70 but the sale ends tonight.

Read my whole post you see that bit at the bottom where I agree with you....yeah pretty much that.

I disagree about the older models having a true upgrade path right now they do but in 2 years time? say what you like about it but the fact I can buy a current amd chip and put it in my 5 year old motherboard and with a quick bios flash it works is something of a breath of fresh air compared to the intel system. Not that it stopped me going sandy from my previous i5 via a temporary amd quad when I fried it :'(, may well go to bd when it comes too but I'm a hardware junkie
