Lets put it this way. In 1 year the 5870 got 5% average increase with drivers updates. Where the GTX 480 got average of 15% increase with drivers updates

If anything I think Nvidia is more likely to yield more performance over time with drivers
Yeah. Good luck proving that. Until then you've got nothing.

What does not owning the card have to do with pointing out valuable and to some even purchase decisive facts about the 6950?

Does the thread topic say "thread war" ?If you read through the thread you will notice that I have multiple times stated my ultimate agender was to keep the thread in a civilized and professional state.

Of course people get sensitve regarding this matter which is why we have to act that much more mature and professional about it.

If the above about the thread war is what you set out to do then you have accomplished the task.. but if you really want to know what is better than go and get your cards and I will out bench you.
It was neither my agender nor my task you can thank the Supreme Trolls for that one of them being BallatheFeared who is still continuing to terrorize the thread after 20 pages unrestrained by any Mod ...really sad actually.

What kinda nonsense is this?
I am still undecided wheter to get the 6950 CF setup or 570 SLI because I could get them extremely cheap...but what does that have to do with you?
You already posess a 6970 CF and 570 SLI setup you could really aid this thread by contributing some results.
If you refuse fine but why do you have to drag me in?

EDIT: Keep in mind if you want to do some benchmarks we will need to keep our cpu clocked the same. If you want to overclock the cpu then let me know as well I dont have any problems with that.
If anyone else who posesses both or at least a 6950 unlocked CF setup please notify!!!
We have enough people with 570 SLI here to compare benchmarks we actually need a 6950 unlocked CF or 6970 CF setup here please?

Well Nvidia just released new drivers that also claim up to 500% and up to 200% increases but that doesn't mean you will actually get those increases.

Believe me. Nvidia is the one that usually brings more perfromance to the table sooner

Lol. Wow. You're exactly right. Damned me for wanting to get straight answers about video cards whilst wading through fanboy blood(thread), I did read through the whole thread. I may have missed a few posts from the eyerolling and scrolling down, if so, that's my bad, and I apologize to the people I responded to.

As for your blatent fanboyism, and comments about benchmarking with my current computer.. I was blown away by that. I had to read your post three times to make sure you weren't being sarcastic, and were trying some clever ploy to have a good natured joking around with a new member.

" Haha, got you, Motive. You derped up there! "

Nooooope. Stay classy.

True. Posted a billion benchmarks, yet all they come with is a GTX 470 and a simple 3Dmark score.

Impressive really.
