We all know the 570 and 580 1.5Gb are overpriced POS compared to the 6950 and 6970.

The fact that the 6950 has the ability to unlock , run cooler , overclock more efficient, is more stable,is cheaper, has a better stock cooler, a better voltage controller and better power consumption rate is one thing or better said several.

But the ultimate fact which cannot be argued with and just ends the whole thing in my oppinion is the 2 GB of VRAM.

I mean think 1 year ahead....VRAM is becoming more important and games start to become really RAM heavy....and of course if the VRAM is insufficient the game will just use the regular RAM ...but I doubt any of you 570 guys have GDDR5 bars xD.

At high resolution or with fair AA,AF the 570 just cannot properly operate and the scaling is already bad enough as it is.
And this is a enthusiast forum omg ...I am sure not everybody plays on their 24" at 1600x1280 lol?
You have to think about those things when doing such a comparsion.

That is the ultimate + of the 6950 which just declares it the winner in my oppinion regardless of how many 3D Mark 11 benches are posted^^.

The fact that 6950 can even compete with 570, let alone beat, should give you a wake up call.
The fact that I can beat the 6970 with 470s should be yours.

I can bet money that you won't get all those performance increases on 11.4

They don't even say at what settings or on what configuration. I'm sorry but you don't get an extra 20% performance tomorrow from your video card with a driver update. Again look at how much performance the 5870 and the GTX 480 got in over a year of drivers

Oh, another one who has to brag about his 4xx card. Again, I do not care about what happened in the past. You have nothing whatsoever, to back up your "claims".

These cards are neither a 5870 or a 480. This is what you're saying summed up: hi guys, im a fanboy. since the 480 gained more performance than the 5870 this must also be the exact same for the 6950 and the 570. Really guys, im not joking, i know this is true based on my own personal assumptions, which are indeed correct.

See how stupid it sounds? I'll say it again, until you actually have something relevant, don't waste my time.

Awesome. Now when they know they lost they are flaming the drivers. Tell me, if Nvidia drivers are so flawless, how come Dragon Age is getting a 461% performance increase? Hmm guys, this is a hard one.

http://www.engadget.com/2008/03/27/n...crashes-in-20/

No wonder my Windows was crashing with my GTX 260.

LOLGUISE, Nvidia drivers are crap because I think so. I know it.

Balla, normally I dislike your excessively aggressive posting, but I think you are in the right here. A righteous weapon of AMD fanboy culling.

IG-88 would be proud

Yeah, clearly forming hypotheses based on past events is idiotic. There is no wisdom at all to be garnered from past events because they're over right? That makes them irrelevant. So hey, i was thinking about persecuting some Jews, anyone else down?
