Bravo.
Can you really fault the guy for not knowing considering the OP has quoting his "fact list" about 80 times per page?

Lets go to a blow by blow here on this post...
since so far I've not done anything fanboy here.

[quote=Kung Pow;13068254]The fact that the 6950 has the ability to unlock]
This is definitely true for alot of cards... not all of them though. So Point here.
Quote:
run cooler
Let's go on the assumption that my previous post was correct, and temps between an unlocked 6950 and a stock 6970 would be almost the same if not exact... ok? ok...
according to this image http://www.legionhardware.com/images...6970/Temps.png
the 570 runs at 40/81 idle/load
6970 runs at 47/90
the 570 runs cooler according to that review. (I believe its two stock cards, but I am not sure)

Quote:
overclock more efficient, is more stable
Can you share any reviews or any proff to these statements? I can't find any proof one way or another. Thanks!

Quote:
is cheaper
True, no arguing that.

Quote:
has a better stock cooler
I have to disagree considering the temperatures from the above image.
can you find any reviews that state that the 6950/6970 stock cooler is better than the gtx 570?

Quote:
a better voltage controller
Than a stock 570? sure nuff...

Quote:
and better power consumption rate
another point in your favor

Quote:
2 GB of VRAM
sure, absolutely, the 2 GB is unarguably better than 1.280 GB... a year from now? dunno... depends a lot on the resolutions you play at.
at 1080p, may last quite a while. at higher res, the sooner your RAM size will become a factor. I don't know if i agree with your one year argument, as a game from March 2010 (Bad Company 2) and at 1080p and all graphics settings high only hit at sub 700MB...

I definitely agree that the Extra VRAM is awesome, but again this is an enthusiast forum... not everyone keeps their components more than a year...

***EDIT*** Just ran Metro 2033 (Directx 11 Very High settings 4xMSAA 4x AF Adv PhysX) and it went up to 1028 MB VRAM used...
***END EDIT***

Word, words, word. Where's the numbers?

I've seen nearly no numbers from the Nvidia guys/girls whatever. Only person actually providing useful material on the Nvidia side has been BallaTheFeared, even though I hate admitting it since he's the biggest troll in history.

So yeah guys, unless you have any numbers to show, please stop posting in this thread.

It's OK to lose sometimes, my mum thought me that.

Never trust temperatures from reviews.

Please not so low again.
I just had to point out the obvious.
He is disturbing my thread and I want him out.
He has already caused one downfall and it stops now.

People need to stop talking so much and start posting results seriously
Especially Shredicus has a history of trash talking.
So please start giving us some results ...the thread is already packed with 6950 results crashing the 570 SLI.

I play games at home with 3 computers in LAN. What's confusing you? I don't play synthetic benchmarks.

Staying under a rock and not getting out much? Things have changed alot since the 470 days.

''SLI scales better then Crossfire''... It was true with the 5xxx serie, but the 6xxx serie scaling is much better then the 570/580 serie.

Some people get stuck in the past and can't see that new products are coming out. Wake-up! It's not 2009 anymore!

Just like ''580 SLI is tha best for 1000$'' It was. Not anymore. A 6990+6970 now totally rape 580 SLI for the same price.

But some people just stay stuck in the past.

Then pull your 6970 and lets see what you have.

Start us up.

You're right its not 2009, hence I paid $365 for my cards and you're talking about $1000.

Heck keep your Tri Fire going, run some benches so we can see how great that ATI price vs performance is.
