I faced you with the aftermath and confusion your posting was causing but you still refused to listen.
You have terrorized this thread since page 1 without any regret.

The outcome of the thread has been directly referenced to me although those have prematurely judged me they are right due to the fact how low the thread sunk at the middle.

That is partially your fault.
Why do you take joy out of intentionally disturbing a discussion already struggling?
I just would like to tell you that you should be ashamed and that your agender still wasn´t achieved due to the not 100% satisfieing yet topic solving end.

I hope you had your fun...and I also hope people will stop holding me responsible for the countless acts of stupidity, fanboism and useless/irrelevant posting which built their judgment about me and the thread induced and encouraged by you and the rest of the trolls.

if they dont want to overclock, what makes you think they would want to unlock a processor? doing that wrong can screw up your card as quick as a bad overclock

The shader unlock is considered risk free and can be achieved on almost all the 6950 cards

And I do remember saying "people who don´t like to overclock that much"
But even so Shader unlock + increasing the clocks to 6970 speeds is in my oppinion an interferal with the chip not worth mentioning

And again:

I am actually really happy that the pole is exactly at 50%/50%.
Which disproves most claims that people posting in the Nvidia section would just blindly vote without overthinking the facts and benchmarks

I am very happy to see that my belief in your rational thinking was accurate after all

The thread is pretty much solved and overstimulated with information^^
So if all people are finished as OP I would like to enclose this matter just how I started it

Again right at the start I would like to apologize to all people being offended, provoked and insulted by the various trolls, fanboys, junk posters, and idiots that have haunted this thread.

Please do not build your oppinion about me or the thread prematurely though.
Even though some passages can be considered questionable ...I do believe we have gathered a substancial amount of information, benchmark results and valuable facts that can aid anyone concerning the topic or both cards individually.

I would also like to thank all the guys that did not judge me for reasons that are not my fault and were even tryed to be prevented by me.
And of course do I thank everbody that has participated in this thread with serious and professional intentions only

Let this be an example of how even just sarcasm or being condescending can have terrible effects.
And how sensitive subjects need an especially sensitve approach.

Thank you all again

/thread

Ok.

1. This thread through the purposes of "easy unlock and slight overclock" was not named in the manner of which information could be justified for that cause. Instead it was just another AMD vs. Nvidia thread war with a handicap for the 6950 price/performance justification. The title is what draws members in, and this one was geared for a war, as you received.

2. If you feel that someone is truly trolling you, then the best thing you can do is disregard them entirely. Even if they have a completely different viewpoint, they are still bumping your thread which can aid you to your cause. However, playing the role of the screaming victim makes your word less reputable and thus will only gather more "trolls" to bash your thread.

3. There were sections made for a reason, so that each individual can gather information from the desired groups, in the future if you want a clean start for a topic such as this then put it in the neutral area known as "General", I saw that putting this in the Nvidia section hindered your goal tremendously.

4. If you want a strict rule thread, then make the rules in the Original OP, editing the OP for a manner such as this only means that you messed up, and that you want further handicap a certain party. Thus making your word less reputable.

5. Even though your intention was for X (specific circumstance) vs. Y (stock), the overlying purpose was for the best price/performance equation, with Balla's 470 SLI configuration performing near or above 6950 unlocked at 70 dollars less per card (as most 470's in the market sell for 190 shipped or less now) are the best price/performance justification. And again, even if this wasn't the goal of your thread, you could have simply given him the honorable mention and he might of backed off to some other thread, but you made it a point that his info was irrelevant, and thus he made it his goal to make you understand his view.

6. You came to OCN and asked OCN to contribute to this debate, thus you are asking of its members for the benches and prices to figure out the winner, since you don't have any of the components in question you obviously cant post an educated opinion. Understanding that, please don't post benches from other review sites, im not saying they are fake/irrelevant/fixed in anyway, however this community considers itself to be elite in many ways and benches by its own community will be taken much more seriously as compared to review sites.

I hope in earnest that you understand that I'm trying to aid you in your future endeavors, if there is a point I missed then please inform me, I apologize in advance if you have taken offense to my opinion

I do understand that you are trying to aid me

5 things though:

6.)I strongly disagree with your statement that someone who does not actually posess hardware is unable to do a professional statement about it.
I have gathered endless information before I even dared to post anything about the 6950 trust me

5.)I will not further discuss the matter arround Balla ..he knows what he has done and I already told him to be ashamed of it....no further comment.

4.)I did list everything necassary in my first post I did not realize I had to advise people to remain civilized ...which I later did countless times including taking the blame for almost all of there actions.

2.)I do not believe I played the roll of a screaming victim ....I tryed to appeal to Balla´s and other people´s human sense that his actions were inappropriate and had to stop.
I thought that such an approach would yield more promising results and maybe even a valueable member with information to share...obviously my approach was wrong and only resulted in the fuel of his behavior.

3.)I actually did not realize posting this into the Nvidia section was that much of a deal.
I assumed the matter to be rather sensitive yes...but not for some people to lose their basic human sense and resort to rather inappropriate actions.
Nonetheless thank you for the constructive criticism I appreciate it!

Hey no problem, two last things though. The two points quoted are the things I speak of.

10 review sites can absolutely not give you the quality of ensaid component and how it will perform for you, only under there own specific PC configuration which many will use as a template. Under that pretext, a component is only as "good" as its drivers and how much performance they can deliver with a vast amount of other component configurations. This is where the community can chime in and where you can gather a better consensus of the component in question, which is why I believe you cant have a educated opinion.

Secondly, by trying to appeal to an entity of the internet (as this thread displayed) you play the role of the victim (by defending your persona) as you have in this thread (though unintentionally). You may have to suck it up and let a few gut punches go in order for your point to be heard. Almost no one can do that when not debating in person. next time I would simply give an honorable mention, this way the Thread retains your goal, and will provide better information for all, after all there isnt just a 6950 and 570 in our existence
