While I'm not great, I type 80-85 WPM and attribute 100% of that to video games.
Basically - find something that makes you type that isn't boring you to death. I'm not sure if you're a gamer, but there has to be a method for everyone
Yeah it seems everyone just learned from an elementary school class. I was always to busy faking out the teacher and loading up Oregon Trail. Guess thats what I get now. lol
Although, I play SC2 also, and I don't see how typing fast has anything to do with that game? You could play an entire match without typing anything actually.
The funny thing is, I use my two index fingers occasionally other fingers, and I can hit about 60wpm. I don't always look down, just sometimes I glance down here and there but I don't stay locked looking down at the kb. When I try to place my fingers on the homerow and just type, I have no idea where keys are typing that way and it feels odd.
