I concur. Water cooling is the way to. This was my first watercooling forced as I just did not want to hear the fans whirling.

Only 2 slots in between, well I have them up and running again and they are much cooler then before, and performance seems to be just what I remember. I would stick one in the 8x slot and forget about it.
