Opinions about my MSI 560 Ti overclock! Thanks! - Page 2

Also Marc as a note my MSI 560 was stock 880 core / 1800 shader I believe. My volts was at like .950 or less running super stable, I've had it at those settings for 3 or so months. Prior to this post.

Well, some cards to react differently to things, but that voltage does seem a tad high. But if temps are ok and it's stable, then why not.

You sure outscored me, but that because you have a better processor.

that is a very good overclock. 66 C is not high either. i'd say you go higher. maybe 1.1 GHz? only stop when your temps exceed 80 C or you've maxed out the voltage.

Back in the day we only altered voltage as a last resort, so keep going up; for sure? Also I have a really good feeling that the MSI 560 Ti was meant to be a beastly OCer, with the dual fans and heatsinks etc military components it claiming to run 20C lower than other 500 series etc

Zhuge Liang! You have no idea how many hours I've spent playing DW3.

Anyhow, you should be safe going up in voltages. Mine takes 1.087v to get 1000 core running stable.

Should I furmark burn? Or just fumark for 30-40 minutes to test stable temp and stability? (once I raise to 1.1 and the volts a bit more)

Oops I meant Kombuster not fur
I just use Kombustor. If thats stable for 20 minutes or so I run it through the Heaven benchmark and 3dmark11 for a couple passes. After that I consider it stable.

After upping the core to 1050 I ran Kombuster burn at max for 4!!!! Hours never having the temp break 68-69. FN banging. (let me Note i have crappy cooling in my case so the 560 coils itself perfect, I have 2 front fans sucking in of Which one is broken missing 2 blades, 2 back fans blowing out, and one side fan sucking in... They're all small fans too. 45s? This I am going to upgrade when I upgrade my 650 watt PSU and grab one of those antec LAN boys, perhaps will grab a CPU, Ram, and GPu cooler as well) anyway When I get home (out to grab some pizza) will post 3Dmark after I do the bench. I stand by the fact that the MSI 560 Ti twin forz is the best Card on the market right now, perhaps not for pure specs but or value, the dual fans and heatsinks, the military class components etc and only for 250! It overclocks like a champ, I'd gladly grab another and OC that one to the same statistics and SLI those bad boys. Compliments my 16 gigs of ripJaws and my amd 1090T 6core. (reason for 16 gigs of ram isn't ignorant overkill but rather to use all of the music software (I am a signed musician under Atlantic and work as an engineer) and also do 3D modeling on the side in Unreal engine, Source, and ID tech 4 (mostly iD tech 3 created a 6 hour FPS in tech 3 open source) also C++, I can literally have 2 high demanding games running at once, with nuendo, protools, reason, with endless VSTs and modeling software along with Microsoft's c++ and not be using half my memory, when I had only 8 gigs this was impossible and I'd get choke ups if I tried... I adore my pc.
