I'd be really annoyed, but that's just me.


There's not much you can do, though. Tell him where he went wrong and then drop it. It's his computer, and his money, he can do whatever the hell he wants with it. It's not worth your time.

i think he means either an 8800 is too powerful for physx (which it actually is kind of the perfect card for it, just like the gt240) or that a physx card is not needed with a 560ti (which i'm not sure).

Most games don't utilize PhysX. And the 8800GTX consumes quite a bit of power, therefore creating a lot of heat.
