P67 mother board with SLi? - Page 2

LGA 1156 + P55
LGA 1155 + P67

ASROCK's abomination = P67+LGA 1156
1155 is Sandy Bridge and is newer. 1156 is Lynnfield and older. It makes no sense but there it is.

UEFI allows mouse input and a more graphic interface. A proper GUI in my book is anything non-UEFI it's much faster to configure a BIOS old-school. But that's just my opinion, the same ends are reached whatever your preference.

Once you learn to navigate it, which should be like 1 minute, it's not that bad. I still prefer the old way and continue to use the keyboard with the uefi. One of the boards that I had, think it was the TP67XE, let me set a default page upon entering the bios. Maybe it was a P8P67, but it skipped all the nonsense. The GD-65 made me navigate to the page I desired, which I was not to fond of.
