Oh - i cannot remove the slot. my PC is stacked! Sound card is in-between the Graphics cards and a USB expansion card above.

I think we have bounced enough ideas around. Cheers for your input!

Best cooling mod I ever did was a window unit in the room my pc is. AIR/H20 it will drop the temps.
I have central air/heat but it is cheaper to cool one room into the 6x's F.

From what i have seen, the 570 is only slightly faster. However the 295 is dual GPU. so that is quite a jump in performance!

I'd love a 570, but as long as i'm not having SLI issues i won't replace the 295 until later on.
