adjust by cores

when overclocking the 2800 k on the asus p67s boards is it best to
use adjust core that can be adjusted in window or can.t be adjusted in windows

like just set it to 50 or 50 50 50 50 on each core.

I don't know about the 2800k (lol), but for the 2600k, performance wise, it's the same setting "all core" to 50, or set each of them to 50 individually. Unless you want to set different multipliers when different number of cores are in use, just use "all cores". It's difficulty to set the correct voltage when OCing if you allow the multiplier to vary depending on the number of cores in use.

You can't set each core to use a different multiplier, lol
What you're setting is the multiplier when X number of cores are in use (like, 1, 2, 3, or 4). You can't have core 1 run at X52, core 2 run at x45, core 3 run at x47 and core 4 run at x40, for example...but you can have all the active cores running at those ranges.
But I don't think that works for multipliers over 45, that well....
