Can I SLI a GTS450 with a GTX460?

I have a GTS450 and a GTX460. Would it be possible to SLI these two cards together?

Not SLi, but with a Hydra chipset board like big bang fusion you could run them in multi-gpu.

No.

Only two same cards can be SLI'ed together unlike Crossfire for ATi.

No sorry, they have different numbers of shaders and the 460 is quite a bit faster. The best you could do is use your 460 as your main card and your 450 as a physx card.

SLI requires 2 of the exact same cards in order to maintain high performance syncronisation. You can still use both cards; use the gts450 for physx and the other for power and you should be good. but yeah only exact same cards

I'll do that then. As I understand I don't need the SLI bridge if I'm just using the second card for PhysX?
