Oh look lets break a card in half and take pics and post over the internet for attention

It may have been broken? it may be worth nothing to YOU, but to someone maybe it could have been useful?

Why did you smash up the mack rig? because you were bored? so what if mobo was dead, Pure muppetry .

I'm surprised that so many people are flaming OP. None of the other destruction threads I've seen (and there's been quite a few) have had a negative response.

Grow up, guys, saying that "someone could've used it" applies to anything anyone in the west does. You drive a car? A LITTLE AFRICAN BOY COULD'VE USED THAT GAS TO HEAT HIS TIRED SOUL! You have electricity? WHY DIDN'T YOU DONATE THE MONEY TO THE POOR LITTLE AFRICAN BOY?!
Actually, I'm not quite sure why you guys have internet, someone could've used that money. Oh wait, that means anyone posting on this forum doesn't do their part for the poor!

Completely irrelevent, Driving a car is a purpose of getting from a to b.
As is having a internet conection your paying for a service. as is wasting electricity, your paying for it.

Purposefully snapping a graphics card in half is in a completely diffrent league
Kinda like oh look my porsche is knackered i know let's torch it. Instead of saying oh but somebody may find this useful, Forget it's value give it away to someone who would have use for it out of the goodness of your heart.

Im not only flaming the op for doing this and my opinion goes to anyone who feels the need to act like a **** for no reason other than self motivated narrow minded immaturity.

I have given away many useful things and some i know are genuinely very grateful, I do it because i enjoy making other people happy other than myself it is the way i am, and money does not come into it to an extent. and i believe if others shared the same opinion as i do then our neighbourhoods would be a much happier friendly place

Just my opinion tho

You could be driving a bike.
So it's okay to use electricity and internet because you paid for it? OP paid for his card too (or his brother did or whatever, don't remember who).

My point still stands IMO.

I'm not against sharing, caring and being generous, I just think all your (read: all who have criticized OP, not just you, Chewy) arguing is pointless. It's his property, it's his choice, it's his fun. Instead of coming here and pointing all your anger and frustration at OP, try aiming for the people who actually dump their Porsche in the ocean when they want one in a different color (read: me ). Really, he's destroying an already broken $40 card. If someone can't afford that card, he can't afford the electricity it needs (not even kidding).
