Now the sub you choose depends on what you listen too. A closed sub would be a lot better for music. While a ported one would be better for music and games.
IMO, a closed sub is a waste of a subwoofer driver. Yes, you get a more accurate sound in the cost of max SPL and sub-bass extension. A sub driver has a lot of excursion, the air has to move somewhere
, and not stay in the enclosure. Some might disagree with me, but this is purely my opinion.
