Would you both recommend the G.skill's over the other two.
Hell yes.

LoL, calm down ram overclockers... Average pc gamers don't need tight timings and supersonic speeds... It's not even practical... Don't waste money on rams faster than 1600mhz on sandy bridge, you won't even see it in benches..

Thread Starter
Thanks guys.

I will be getting:
i5 2500k CPU
G.skill 2133 Ram
I am still not sure on the motherboard yet. I won't be buying all this till the end of May, I'll probably come back then to ask about the motherboard.

Thanks again.

If you don't have a credit card, but have a bank account and access to online banking, Canada Computers and NCIX both take payment in online bank transfers.
They're both Canadian Retailers as well. Canada Computers HQ is in Eastern Canada and NCIX's HQ is in the West.

ASUS P8P67 $162: http://www.canadacomputers.com/produ...item_id=036782
Intel i5-2500k $230: http://www.canadacomputers.com/produ...item_id=035530
G.Skill ECO 4GB 1600MHz 7-8-7-24 @ 1.35v $68: http://www.canadacomputers.com/produ...item_id=027827

With GST that comes to $485, not including any sales that may arise.

The Difference between 1333 C7 and 2133 C8 is around 2FPS in most games. This was especially hilarious to watch back when nehalem first came out and DDR3 was very expensive.

You know any processor that is a dual core built in the athlon dual core area is enough.
Six cores do nothing more then 4, which does little more then 2.
