Just got a UD7 HELP !

I just hooked my ud7 and 2600K.

Pretty much what settings do i need to touch besides the multi and voltage, i wanna try aim for 4.9ghz, any trick advice for the ud7 ?

From my noobie experience, just set the bclk to 100, multiplier to 49, then up your vcore to 1.450v (for now) to start. For my Asus Maximus IV Extreme, nothing else is needed unless trying a 5Ghz+ OCing. Stress test the configuration for stability, then you can fine-tune the vcore up or down for further test.

I would try to overclock on stock volts first, to see how the CPU handles it.

Then crank it up to 1.45v or even 1.5v and see how high you can get stable.

Then try to lower the voltage while maintaining the OC.

You'll eventually reach a point where you'll have to decide between 100Mhz and 0.25v and the choice will be obvious - there is your new CPU!

watch your vcore from ET6 and run prime95 to increase/decrease your vcore if unstable/stable.
