Does this make a difference?
If I were to say, that consoles are better than PC's, that is obviously a subjective statement, and to simply say that anime is not a good medium also shows much ignorance to that
medium. There is a lot of **** anime, and some Really Good anime... but you have to experience the difference to be even close to eligible to make a call on the medium itself. Just like one needs to play games from table top to console to PC, to make a call on what in the fekk a decent game is.
The reason Halo was good, was that it was done by several different and well noted studios that had shown an interest in the project, so we got several different stories, that only happened to have the license branding, not the story or other constraints saddled to it. Thus that deal was with individual studios, not some damn publisher.
EA branding is going to saddle this project with so much BS that anything good that could come from it, is going to get lost in the bureaucratic horse **** that comes with dealing with a big ass publisher.
Thats why this is going to suck, and it's a real shame for it.
