But there are plenty of mechancial keyboards with Cherry Black switches for less money without back-lighting, so unless you absolutely need something like the passthrough ports or matching wrist rest there isn't much justification to spend the money on this board other than for aesthetics.

As a refrigerator is not useful at all for a north pole inhabitant...

Refrigerators are still useful for most people, as a backlit keyboard is useful for the non touch typist people, which are the vast majority of the PC users.

You need to compare with other products in the Backlit Mechanical Category (a small one to say the least).

- Cheaper than a Deck Legend.
- 6KRO over USB is better than Razer Black Widow's 2KRO (but no Macros)
- Not made by iOne

And last but not least, if you get a mionix you won't be plagued by the pointless ripster's comment about ione.

Which is a great added value....

You should start water marking your photos.

If it had been the enlargement would have cut it right out anyway.

I wonder how my pics in the OCN Mechanical Keyboard Guide lost their watermark?

I don't care if people take my photos, I'm already aware this is in many locations. It's just a picture of a broken stem...

But I must say, whoever cut that should have cut out the piece of candy cane that chipped off when I took it out of it's wrapper, as it's not a piece of the key cap(as it looks).

if a someone truly wants to actually become a better gamer (or at least put themselves on par with other people living in this modern world in the age of computers, not just for gaming) they should probably be spending their money on ways to improve their touch typing ability, such as through software aid or lessons or even a keyboard with blank keycaps...instead of investing in a crutch like back-lighting

what's more is gaming just about requires touch control; if you're constantly having to look down at your keyboard to know you're hitting the correct keys, you're not going to have an easy time winning any of your games let alone have much fun playing

the refrigerator analogy is a bad one, as this is more akin to a food garnish you would use to flavor up an otherwise lousy meal, but if your cooking is actually good to begin with the garnish becomes completely unnecessary outside of making the meal look more appetizing

I would like to express that I really don't have anything against back-lighting as long as its treated for what it really should be - an aesthetic feature. Anyone buying a back-lit keyboard to improve their gaming ability is fooling themselves.
