Well, someone has to do it.

Again, it says Mionix, and Mionix is in the gaming business

This keyboard cost more than others because it's mechanical rather than because it's backlit, there are fare more expensive mech keyboard.
Yes there are far more expensive ones, there are also far less expensive ones with with the same switch type even...but without backlighting.

If you don't like mech keyboards and you don't like the backlit ones, what's your role in this thread ?
I love mechanical keybaords, and I never said I don't like backlighting, what I'm fighting against is the notion that backlighting is something other than a crutch (outside of cool aesthetics)

Maybe you need this crutch and it took a gaming peripherals company to produce it for you, but I guarantee you'd be in the minority buying this keyboard for that purpose. If that's the case I'll back off, I know its not cool to make fun of handicapped people.

I'm sorry, If I haven't figured "your highness" earlier.
Yeah, I have to keep a low profile to avoid the Paparazzi, but at least we're on the same page now. I forgive you.

What niche ? every keyboard should be illuminated.
No thanks, I don't need useless bling on my keyboard. I also make use of this wonderful invention called the light bulb if I ever need to see something in the dark.

And by 2015 we're supposed to have trash fueled nuclear fusion powering flying DeLoreans. Sometimes reality can be a disappointment.

I'm pretty sure this keyboard is USB only. The spec sheet specifically says two USB ports needed (one for the hub).

Good Call Mionix!!

Actually since Europe and japan are both so dense, the technology and providers are far superior to here up until recently (kinda, we still suck here). There's still Phones being released to the EU first, with NA versions later on in some cases with inferior tech. Common examples of this are the HTC phones.

Btw that graph you posted is for OS's, not actual phone manufacturing, so it really means nothing. Also that big blue piece of pie is Nokia, a European company.

BTW my point was the evolution on the consumer needs/lickings not the huge delay of US in mobile phones adoption.

Also, about the buttons, they flex for everyone when you push hard along the side of the button, more noticable with the claw grip as your finger is positioned right over the area that bends. (Caves in). "Caves in" might be a little too harsh though as it only slightly bends inwards. However other mice I have don't have that design flaw.

The only thing wrong with my mouse that may be my fault is that right click cheap feeling, which may be just because I've used the mouse for 4 months under EXTREME use. (I have no life)

I almost forgot that once in a blue moon the mouse will refuse to start up with my PC requiring me to replug it back in. (Also reported by others.)

I HIGHLY doubt I have a bad mouse as many of the things wrong with mine others have experiences also.

Also about the keyboard, everyone seems to be using iOne as their main foundation, I wouldn't be surprised if this is just another Razer Blackwidow with different switches.
Please contact Mionix support (support@mionix.net) about you mouse, that doesn't sound right.

Mionix does not work with iOne
