Why compusa for everything? Any particular reason why? I agree with xd_1771, buy online from reputable companies if possible, e.g., newegg, superbiiz, zipzoomfly, etc.

You won't be able to get a build as good as mine from CompUSA
In fact you won't even come close

A few times there are good deals but for the most part the selection is pretty crummy, esp. the RAM, PSUs.... usually Newegg (and other sites but only if there are good deals)
If he wants a build as good as mine (on Newegg) the likelihood is it'd cost 50% more at CompUSA and be beyond $850
