This board has known VRM issues with 125W processors. You may end up with a major catastrophe if you continue running that 955 at 4Ghz, and I definitely don't recommend this board to anyone with a 125W processor.
really? may have to look into getting a new board then

Yeah, it's sort of an underlooked issue around here a lot of people keep using boards with under-capable VRM designs and no OCP protection - and yes, sometimes, catastrophes do happen.
I'd bring the clocks down to stock for now before getting that new board for additional safety

What about the msi 890fxa gd65? Is that a good mobo for overclocking the 955 ?!? I just got this board.

Biostar TA890GXE may also be a nice option
I second this man's suggestion on the TA890GXE.

I am currently using the 890fxa-gd65 with an PII x4 820, but my 955 is in the mail now. I highly recommend my mobo. It has excellent reviews and is made for overclocking. 0 issues for me and I am 900MHz above stock speed. Well worth the investment.
