Whats a descent gaming mouse for $10-30

not an original question...

Whats a descent right handed gaming mouse for $10-30, checked a couple of places and they exist at that price with 5 buttons + wheel, not sure whats a good dpi at that price, 1600dpi seems low, but maybe there are no 2400dpi for around $20

Mouse prices are all over the place, for junk and quality

My primary has hit the hard floor too many times and is acting after the last time

the wired type is just fine, I have a wireless and it happens to be slow, so its my backup

I will put it in a proper place from now on, or just put an old towel were it always lands....this $8 one lasted way longer than the last 2-3

Logitech Mx-518 , $36 shipped. Holding this mouse makes my hand drool.

Edit: even the 1600 dpi is pretty intense for me to handle accurately. Maybe I'm a lumbering ogre, but I don't think I could properly utilize 2400dpi. tongue.gif

2nd the MX518. I've had mine for 6 years now, and it works like new aside from some wear and tear. You won't be disappointed.

The Logitech G500 is also pretty good, you can usually find one in the $30-40 range if you don't mind waiting on rebates.

at canada newegg the MX 518 is onsale for 45+12+tax

Well I just learned that my current 1 is 800dpi

I`ll try 1600dpi in games like BFBC2 and BF3

but for the price and the look of the buttons, I like this one for sure, not sure on the brand though, might be junky

6 buttons 400/800/1600dpi PLUS adjustable weight, that sounds like a great option

http://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=21_273_275&item_id=033247

I got my MB and LCD from the above, and I need 100 blank DVDs at the same time anyway

So yeah I will try 1600dpi, but really dont want to go over $35

on sale 63+tax up here

I definitely like where the little top button is on the iCan

just blast my pointer finger slightly to the left of LMB, that better be a programmable button

but I cant find much on the quality/durability of that mouse

and

IMO [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-D58-00026-Intellimouse-Optical-Mouse/dp/B00005TQ08"]Amazon.com: Microsoft Intellimouse Optical Mouse: Electronics[/ame]

What the pros use. I want to get them even though I have a deathadder. It's the deathadders LOD. It's RIDICULOUSLY high. It still tracks at 4.8mm. Not perfectly.. but it still does. And when I hear about the WMO, IMO and IME 3.0's 1.2mm LOD... I cream myself. They also supposedly weight less than the DA. mmmmmmmm.

Carefull about the G500, the sensor is placed very far to the front instead of centered in the case of the MX 518 which make it totally unsuited for a fingertip grip.

If you have larger hands, go for the Microsoft X5 mouse. You can usually find those for around $30. I loved mine, but I have something a bit better now.

I don't like the design of it, and cost to much up here anyway

The iCan one is similar in button design to the G500, for now thats the best choice until next week, and if it breaks down in a month, at least it only cost $18

But the other good thing is I'm going to get a logitech dual anolog rumble USB controller and some blank DVDs from CC, and they ship overnight for $7, and now gotten my LCD, MB, and 6950 from there
