Intel Core2Quad Q6600 2.4QC 1066MHz 775P
Gigabyte P35-S3G C2D 1333m DDR21066 PCI-
HIGH POWER 650w
4GB DDR2 1066 MHZKIT(2x2GB) REAPER CL5 OCZ
VTX HD6950 2GB 256bit (I will overclock it too but there is a bottleneck problem in my system)

i just bought my HD950 and 650w psu and i have performance problem i just search it in turkish forums and they said there is a bottleneck problem so im trying to overclock my Q6600 its my first time at overclocking but its easy really im just trying it with stock fan if i can get some growth i wll buy a better cooler thing. But the problem is i cant overlock any just trying some small values still it resetting and default bios settings. I couldnt find any solution in turkish forums so i want to find a better one seems this is best:) hope someone can help me. Im a bit newbie at overclocking so if u can give me some values to make some small chances to try i can try. Or if there is a another problem i can try to do everything to solve that problem cause i spend my all money for that graphic card and power supply want to use them as best:)

Your off to a great start with your cpu and ram. I dont know that mobo but I will say get an aftermarket cpu cooler [tower] and always watch the temps so you dont hurt your chip.
this is the cooler I bought but I would nt recommend it because its a push pin.

When I had my Q6600 I ran on air at 3.6 using a cooler master 25 dollar tower cooler.
temps were under 70c under load.

Im gonna buy a really good cooler just waiting answer answer to suit my case. But and waiting for a tip about my problem. its not about cooler cause im just trying to do a low clock mean for ex i tryed to do it 2.5still not working. my q6600's vid is 1.328 its about 60c at full load with prime95 without any oc this temp seems high but still can deal with 2.5mhz i think i just want to try after i get the tip i wll buy a better cooler and will try to go 3.4at least for daily use:)

If this is just for fun giver. But your not going to notice any difference unless your clocking up around 3.4ghz eventhen doing that for gaming raised fps only a couple in most games. As for Doing things in windows i didn't notice a differnce upgradeing to a i5 2500k oc'd to 4.8. But in games it was a huge difference doubling fps's in somecases.
