Wireless keyboard + mouse for gaming

Is there something affordable yet reliable from at most about 12' away. I use a long USB cable to game on the big screen but its annoying to pull it out everytime. Budget is under 100 for both.

What games do you play? If you play fps's your going to hate any wireless solution. You will feel a lag between your mouse and screen. Very slight in most cases but for me it changes my games drastically.

Yah thats what I am playing. Lag would suck. Its already kind of a pain trying to play with a keyboard mouse on the couch. But I enjoy playing on the plasma.

I've got a Razer Mamba, and there is definitely a difference. For those who don't know, the Mamba is wireless, but you can also attach a miniusb cable to it and go wired. I wouldn't say it's works, as I use it 100% wireless when mobile, and I can game just fine, but when you've gotten so used to wired, the change can screw you up bad until you can adjust. That's why I stick with wired at home, I'm just too used to wired. If you are swapping back and forth between wired and wireless a lot, get used to having to run a few warm-up rounds to adjust before you can be effective.

Its just a pain to bust out the 15' usb extension cable, with the usb splitter on the end of it, and then plug in the mouse/keyboard everytime. But I don't want to spend a ton on this. One issue is I have the buttons set up on my death adder. So when I go to the tv all my buttons are screwed up with the other mouse.

So I have been using the death adder but then I have to unplug it everytime, pull the wire from behind the desk blah blah. I'd like to just have it sitting there ready to go. Still looking.

G700 and the Logitech Wireless Illuminated would be perfect.

@zilxy

Theres no difference between wired and wireless mouse on the Mamba in terms of response, if you detect a difference on your mouse i recommend you RMA it, 1ms is 1ms regardless.

Its either placebo effect or the cable drag is giving you some sort of a muscle memory effect that you over compensate, I did a little testing with my friends who play competitive FPS games and SC2, at first they said they could notice a slight difference with wireless mode but then I left the USB cable in the mouse and not connected to the computer and used another cable on the receiver and yeah they started to say that there is no delay.
