The point is i'm not even concerned of the tempertures and acoustics of the 480 since my 9800gt idles at 47-48 and goes up to 90-91 in load . It is also VERY noisy , so i got used to loud VC .

Extra Vram - useless in 1080p gaming

Extra noise - minor inconvenient for some, major for others

Extra power consumption = more heat = less overclocking potential

The only advantage of the GTX 480 is the better VRM.

Okay then . Which of the 570's do you think has the best vrm ? EXCEPT asus's DCII , which is too BIG .

I wish to get GTX480 for about 300$ in my country haha. Lowest priec I've found was 370$ for GTX480 and 415 for GTX 570. Poor country=highest prices

if anyones in the UK you can get 480's for £180 from overclockers.co.uk with farcry 2 and shogun 2. (special offer last week).

480s are hotter, louder, and slower overall at the expense of more vram. Unless you plan on using 2560x1600+, the 570 will always be the better choice.
