I don't mind DLCs such as GTA where they expand the story and add additional gameplay.

I don't like DLC on some games like Marvel Vs Capcom 3 with color differences, characters, etc. For $50, they should already be in there!

yeah kinda. In the first picture the expansions where additions to the original. in the second the expansion is an unimportant part of the original. and the last the expansions are parts of the actual game that you are tricked into paying more money for.

I think t hey said in 2005 you had the entire game but the expansion just actually expanded some portion/storyline

That's pretty awesome.

The other bummer is that the quality of the games was much better 10 years ago. I still play Diablo II, but I haven't played Fallout New Vegas since I finished the story a couple times.

So true, when I purchased supreme commander 2 was so mad that infinite war battle pack DLC came out shortly afterwards and more packs are soon to come, while I enjoy the content still bad I have to purchase it as DLC instead of them just bringing out a major expansion

This is the reality with black ops. Worst part is, with the black ops DLC, even though you set the server filter to filter out maps you haven't got (which are in DLC) it is the ONLY option in the filters that gets reset every time you log the game. It should be done soon.
