New build powers down immediately? - Page 3

I had a similar incident with my PC some years ago.
My Hiper PSU replacement for a RMA-ed one was booting the PC , then ,after few seconds it would shut down.
Not beeing happy with RMA-ing again the brand NEW crappy Hiper i ve opened it up and started to look around for something wrong. As i guessed the bad crappy soldering was making a short in some small circuit PCB.With a simple screw driver removed the excess soldier and the power supply works even today for a friend ,3+ years and counting.

PSU looks to be the culprit here.Defective PSU -manufacturing issue as it s new.

1. Your case is grounding out your board (yes you said you checked that but any small piece of metal can do it)

3. Your Mobo may be dead (RMA it)

Take the mobo out, plug in ONLY the RAM, CPU (and heatsink), PSU, and one monitor, turn it on. If it doesn't work then remove the RAM (it will still POST to BIOS without RAM), if it still doesn't work its probably a bad board.

Are you 100% sure you have the right 12v connector plugged into the 12v 4-6pin slot on your board? My cousin plugged in a PCI-e connector instead of the 12v 6pin and it did the same thing.
Just tried running it out of the case, pulled RAM, different PSU, etc. Still the same issue. Looks like it's time for an RMA...
