I really wish I could start on something like this but damn my lack of garage and apartment living haha.

Really nice work though, I like the wood stain a lot as well as your improving sleeving skills. Also thanks for the tip on the screw cutting capability of wire cutters , I never noticed that before and it should come in handy for a lot of my small projects!

Thanks!

The screw cutting definitely saved time, money and quite possibly my radiator.

From the get go I'd say about 10-12 hours to do 24/8 pin, 4 pci-e, 2 sata, 8 fans, and the cathode wiring for the rez. 2 to 4 of that I'd say was just struggling with pins. lol It goes a lot faster as you go though. I don't even mess with melting the sleeve now. Makes it toooo lumpy under the heatshrink and if you don't let the sleeve fray to much the heatshrink seems to slide over it easier when not melted.

I've been working on the switch plate this afternoon. I'll try to crush it out tonight and get picks up of the progress tomorrow.

I need to finish up a few things before I can start installing hardware. The most important being a vandal switch for power/reset and a couple other switches for lighting.

19mm Lamptron blue led momentary vandal switch

Wiring for the res uv cathode.
I don't think I'll be able to squeeze the converter box in the cable management space so I'll paint it along with the interior metal coners and the piece we'll screw these into.

I had a couple of these shine top clicker switches laying around so I decided to put them to use instead of the fugly i/o panel switches.

Need to add a piece of case metal to attach them to and I don't want them visible. So I disassembled the right leg and pulled the case bottoms right corner. I should have done all this long before it was stained but I hadn't decided until recently what I was going to do with it. Oh well.

Go go adjustable chair!

A little of this and some of that and...

Bah! Small delay....

Nice threads?
No matter I need to go buy some more paint for the metal anyway.

Next up!
A few holes for the switches, paint, stain, wiring and then it's time to install it all.!

Well I ended up taking a little extra time and pulled all the legs. Cleaned up and repainted all of the interior corners along with the switch plate.

Next up I need to sleeve and wire the vandal switch and one more ccfl switch then it'll be install time!!1
