Where did you get the sleeve from?
Thanks! I know.. right? When I went to the in-laws to borrow the router again, dad had a brand spankin new router/table with a plunging bracket and.. well.. it came the works lol just about every bit/guide/attachment you could think of...
can't wait to play with all that eventually
I got the sleeving from here http://cableorganizer.com/nylon-multifilament/
Quite good stuff that sleeving. A bit of a pita to get used to as it will get fiberous little stringy snags if you're not careful with it. Some electricians tape on the ends of the wires helps a ton. Even though I've never used MDCP-X or Murder Mod sleeving I imagine they would be much easier to use than this stuff just because of it's tendency to snag and the weave is very very tight so it doesn't expand much more than twice its diameter if you're lucky. I really really like it though. After some practice you don't have to melt the ends, (because it's a woven fiber it doesn't want to unwind like the plastic stuff) simply slide the shrink past the end of the sleeve and then back over the fray to lay it down which leaves very clean shrink over the sleeve.
