Small update.

Spent the last couple weeks working on a few things. I worked out a nice frame for the triple monitor setup but failed at getting pics along the way. More on that to come.

Also holding out on a little extra cash to make my last order. Namely an acrylic bending kit to finish up the loop.

Also also... did I say I was done wood working? rolleyes.gif

Hah Thanks! It hardly feels like it's been 3 years already. tongue.gif

I don't have a lot to show atm but I've made a lot of progress. She's up and running albeit on air.

Ran into an issue with the old FrozenQ res. Wires from the cfl slid right out.

Ends up the cfl melted itself to the cathode shell tube.

No leaks or anything that I saw because of this so I might just be able to get the old bulb out and replace it no problem. Otherwise I'm waiting for a response from Steveo @ FrozenQ to see if the replacement tubes they sell will fit this old first gen res. He graciously offered up a discount coupon on a new res as well after hearing about my problem so it's likely that a replacement wont work. Who knows.. maybe I'll end up with 800mm of res in this thing. biggrin.gif

Aaaaand... I'll get better shots of this later with more details but for now.. my debezeled portrait stand. redface.gif

Well, I got the t-virus res all worked out and leak testing it atm. So far so good after about 8 hours but the polycarbonate tube is jacked up. Still no word back from Frozen whether or not the replacement they offer will work.

Looking for a some input before I pull the trigger on an order!

I never thought I'd say it but I'm actually considering some brown noctua fans... kookoo.gif

They're a bit more chocolate colored than the desk but I think they'll flow well with the look of things.

Unfortunately I cant find any more GT's to go with the handful I already have and I just don't like them for this build.

Other than solid black fans there isn't really anything else that I like. LED fans are definitely a no for me here.

They'd get slapped on a couple HWLabs 480 rads... a GTX Gen2 Extreme and a GTS Xflow.

To much brown?
Thoughts on performance/aesthetics?
