The GX750 would make a decent 450W, if they replaced their wave solderer and whoever's operating it, and used better quality capacitors, and had a decent QC department. North of 450W though the ripple goes way out of spec, first on the +3.3V rail, then the +12V.

Ironically, the GX650 (which is from a different OEM) can provide 550W of clean power within the ATX specs and is better built. But 750>650, so everyone buys the crap(pier) 750W version.
