Just take screenshots. Try to get in the same location each time. Look at close range and long range detail, compare AA.

Anyways, as I found the 270.51 from nvidia to be slightly more superior than the others (in different ways) I thought I'll go ahead and do a comparison between the 270.51 and 268.03 WHQl that was kindly shared by d-block+HERE

Obviously you can still compare with the others from the op.

I'll post some thing up in the evening
cool and no problem, I am getting much better fps with 270.51EG than with any of the nvidia's drivers now 266.58NV are very stable and are the best on my system for NV, I wonder if it has to do with the Intel vs AMD or Motherboards? I don't know I am going to try and take some notes from you and PM you my results if I feel like changing things around, but right now it runs great so don't want to mess it up lol

Could actually be because of the SLI scaling, which unfortunatly I cant check until I get another 460

EDIT: Just to add, please remember that I tested these drivers under a single card so those with SLI may get different results. Unfortunatly I can really check SLI scaling as im not running SLI, therefore it would be safe to say that these comparison play well with single cards and not SLI. In the near future I will do a similar review that not only tests single cards but SLI scaling aswell.

yup that has to be it because I disabled one card and it sucked compared to my last test on single card!!!

Hey guys a little update, I tried the 268.03 whql driver with the modded inf that d-block kindly shared (HERE).

These are the results when comparing with the rest from the op, everything remained the same when testing the drivers.

Metro Benchmark tool - DX11 - 1920x1080 - Tesselation (enabled) - Very High - AAA - AF16x - No Physx or DOF

GPU at 960c/1920s/ 2050m

Nvidia 268.03 WHQL (modded inf)

Figures from the other drivers added to compare. Again a fractional difference between all these drivers.

Now lets see how this driver performed in comparison with the others in Crysis and Crysis Warhead .GPU @ 870/1740/2050

I did something a little different here, I included the minimum and max fps to all of these to get a rough idea on how low the frames dipped and how high they went. Obviously average is recorded aswell but it does seem as though the xg 266.58 is still doing better.

Now Crysis Warhead. Performed under the same scenerio (as far as im aware ) as all the other drivers. No changes has been made.

Here we go:

Now all of it together with all the other drives, minimum fps and max fps also recorded here.

Now I had a problem with doing the screenshots for crysis 2, just to let you know it wasn't no fault of my own just crytek being crytek. At the moment im playing crysis so I couldn't really go back and take the same screenshot as I did before, so I kinda left that one. Sorry guys.

We do have metro DX10 and Homefront now lol Here we go. GPU 870/1740/2050. remeber no settings have been changed in any of the games

Metro 2033 DX10

Homefront

The data collected from the other driver in those games are presented here. Does seem like the 268.03 did well there

Last but not least 3DMark Vantage. Again GPU @ 870/1740/2050 and just to let you know in case some of you are wondering why my vantage score is low, that is because my physx is disabled well actually new version of vantage disables it for you (I think its PPU). Anyways here it is:

In this part I thought I'd not only add the score but also the gpu score so that you can see what the difference is coming from. Here it is compared to the rest.

Well there you have it Hope you liked the little review, just a reminder, these are my findings and I have tried to keep the conditions and settings as close as possible to enable accurate scores, but there maybe other things that I cannot control, but I did disable the internet before carrying them out so I dont get updates midway. This is purely for my own reference and if its helpd you pick a driver then awesome, if not then........ oh well!!! Just a note im going to stay on these for a few days and see how they go, I'll report back after a few days.

I just wanted to ask, as this is my first Nvidia card, i'm not 100% aware of drivers, so therefore, I would appreciate it if you guys could recommend some drivers, maybe I could test them out and see which works better on my type of system.

Also pointers and suggestions in different ways of doing these tests will be appreciated. I was thinking to create a few videos or maybe running the fraps benchmark rather than just taking screenshots. Anyways let me know guys.

Thanks

Try a lower resolution and see what heppens. 1080p is too high for quite a few games.

Hey guys maybe some of you can tell me how these drviers are working for you and what kind of games you are running, resolution sli scaling etc? Give me as much information as possible, then I can use it to do my own research and maybe hopefully I willl continue to update this as much as I can.

Also do let me know if you would like to see different drivers on there that I may have missed out, even if its beta.

I figured as this is my first nvidia card I want to really find out the how nvidia drivers perform and improve, im VERY happy with the performance so far coming from ati, and I must add that I have not had a single problem with any of these drivers unlike my previous platform

Btw apologies ocn members, I figured that this is the wrong place for this, it will definetly be better suited in the 'NVIDIA Drivers and Overclocking Software '. So I would appreciate it if a mod can move this thread.

On a side note, I might be getting another 460 soon so that should help in these reviews as many are running SLI, and would great to see how they perform under SLI, can't wait to be first time SLI user!!!!

as we last talked I was using the extreme-g drivers not saying anything bad about them as they did give me the best results (sli) but figured out that it was not a unstable overclock but the newer drivers past 258.96 from nvidia are bsod'ing me! I don't know why, don't even know how to figure out why or how. stupid bsod reports tell me the average person zip and if you look them up there is always the question from someone but NO DAM ANSWER! I would love to learn how to mod drivers as the marriage between 258.97 and 270.51 would be great with out words. I would like some real help if you can buddy as I am stuck
