Well what I do is I tell them right away all the stuff I did so they won't tell me to do so such as resetting the router and cleaning temp files.

50 Mbps is already overkill for anything you will be doing.
I guess I am lucky. By the way, I hate dealing with non-american customer reps. They're like robots trained to tell you all the routine checks that don't really make sense.
