New build, suggestions needed. - Page 2

Personally I use MSI afterburner, cos' it has the best manual fan setup I've ever seen. And it has voltage control too. But tbh, they're pretty much all the same.

1600Mhz RAM is the norm atm, but with a 133 bclk I'm taking mine to 1866 this week. Keeping 1t/1n is paramount atm. Since everyone's PC is different, the only way to tell if you can take you RAM higher is just to test it.

frist off all ive had the gts 450 for about 5months runs like a mini beast lol
i reccomend the msi cyclone verson its like 10dollars more its more queit and runs cooler
possibly a i5 or better mobo
and i hit 1ghz overclock with max voltage with my gts 450 the frist day i got it
dont try that pls
and msi afterburner is better than evga one trust me
after burner lets u tweak voltage
and u can use it with evga card too
and go with windows 7 too take advanteg off dx11

@shotgun pete - Eeeeexcellent :] haha. MSI afterburner it is!

@sharpshoooter82 - Yeah it does run like a mini beast. My system is very well cooled and sound is not an issue to me. Nothing in that bad boy gets over 42c EVER on air!! With the stock Intel and eVGA heatsink/fan combos nonetheless haha! But again like you and Shotgun Pete said, I'll be lookin into MSI Afterburner...

Forgive me im not bein a douche, but did you even read the thread man? I just bought (well, financed) an $18k car I'm kinda broke right now. I'll be usin my i3, mobo, RAM, and OS for a month or two before I got the money to do any major upgrading. Again, I'm not an extreme gamer. I play stuff from way back like 98-2008. Like, I play GRAW and GRAW2, Star Trek: Legacy more than anything.
