The part in bold especially begs the question, "Who do you think YOU are?! The owner of OCN?"

So get off my back..
I wouldn't be on your back if you hadn't been so damn rude toward him. Couldn't you have said it like this instead?

"Come check out my thread entitled Official Intel P67 'Sandy Bridge' Motherboard Comparison List & OC Results! It has a detailed comparison chart that compares several of the best P67 motherboards!

You can even start up a discussion by posting a new reply, and myself and the rest of the regular visitors in this thread will be happy to help you."

That's much better than basically jumping down his throat or cutting his head off just because he made this thread; or perhaps just because he didn't see your stickied thread. I mean, big deal! So he didn't see it! Is this a serious crime? Do you have to talk to him like he personally insulted you because he made this thread instead of posting in yours? Oooo! Give me a break, man!

Yes, I realize that you said that he could come back here and start asking questions, but everything you said to him was done so in a rude way (that's why he didn't really react to your crap, but instead got out of here as quickly as possible). Instead of coming down on him for not posting in your thread, cheerfully tell him about it! Good grief! Cheerfully advertise it when the opportunity arises!

Also, what's this attitude about being frustrated and annoyed just because he made this thread without checking the stickies? Who are you?

You might be wondering at this point if I really DO understand. Oh believe me, I do. I've had thousands of opportunities to talk to people the way you talked to this guy. Do you want me to guess how many times I've had to repeat myself on here, even to the same people? Do you want me to guess how many times I see the same question every single day? Have you ever seen me rudely redirect someone to an existing post or thread? No, because no one wants to deal with that kind of an attitude.

So clearly, all kpreet1996 wanted to do was come here, ask his question, and move on. He obviously didn't care one iota about your stickied thread (and probably because you were rude about it).

Granted, Track may have came off slightly blunt force, but stickied threads exist for a reason. Would the same ignorance be allowed in the marketplace for overlooked stickies?

So WHO are you twocables? The report button exists for a reason as well. Maybe you should have reported it and moved on. What you're doing is more annoying. I'd rather have someone give me a stiff finger to another thread than to have someone defend my feelings against intentions that were harmless. If the original poster needs your defensive help he is going to have a rough time out there in the real world. Life is much more brutal than this place.

That is SO uncalled for.

No.. I couldn't, because I have a nagging feeling that no one here pays me any attention.
It's my problem, I know, but I certainly didn't mean to hurt anyone or be rude.
Why couldn't you just see it as me being professional? See? That makes me think you don't respect me.
If the actual owner of OCN said the same things I did, you'd be all like "well, he's just being professional, we must all respect him."

But me? No, I am being 'rude'.. *sigh*

The only person jumping down anyone's throat and cutting off their head is you.
And just because I made a comment in a tone you didn't agree with..

No, it's not a serious crime. Like I said, I was just throwing all my angst at one individual.

It was wrong, but can you really blame me? I spent and still do spend SO much effort.. just for people to tell me "But I want to make a thread anyway."

Seriously.. give ME a break, man!

I used to be like that.. I don't know.. maybe I've just been hanging around here too often.

I feel like if I do, no one will pay attention to me. And if I won't.. at least someone will have a counter argument I could rebuttal.

But really, my intentions were not negative.

Don't diminish my worth. I am a great person.
That's the mistake people make. Tell everyone they're comparatively worthless.
No, you are a great person, I am a great person and we're all equal.

I am frustrated and annoyed, can't you tell?

But yeah, it wasn't the OP's fault. I do apologize.

I've never seen you at all. You're new to me.

I frankly don't know how you deal with it. Maybe you're given more respect than I am.

Well, I am sorry you and him feel that way.
If my thread's usefulness is linked to my worth in your eyes, then there's really nothing I can do to sway your opinion.

Sigh. Fine.

I guess I'll be one of the few remaining people on here who actually care when a fellow member is being spoken to in a rude way (such as the way you spoke to kpreet1996, Track).

Overclock.net used to be a place where this kind of crap was not tolerated at all. I guess those days are long gone.

So nevermind. Forget it. I guess it's a crime to care now.

Just remember, Track: you don't own OCN, so you had no right to talk to kpreet1996 like that (it doesn't matter if you have a stickied thread or not). Oh wait; there I go caring again. I guess I'm fired! Ban me! Put me in the dog house! Take me to the vet and put me to sleep! heh
