CPU-NB Stability

What is a good program to test the CPU-NB stability? Don't tell me prime95 because quite frankly I'm getting sick of that program -.-

honestly i find the best way to check that my nb is stable is to use linx at 2048 or higher level 10 priority for 200+ runs and it also doubles as a ram stability check as well.
for checking cpu stability specifically i run a small ftts in p95 for 10+ hours (though your sick of p95) and follow it up with 600 runs of linx at 3072 at level 10 priority

for quick stability testing i do 20 runs of ibt or a 15 min run in occt at high priority with a large data set

out of all of them i honestly prefer linx as it does everything in one but i run all of them just for good measure that and usually even when im perfectly stable and have been for a while i still run them maxed out just to give the cpu a work out every other week and make sure that i dont have issues

but really its your call try any of these
linx
intel burn test (ibt)
occt (not always reliable)
amd over drive (works but isnt the best)
hot cpu tester pro
aida64 (has built in stability test) only use as a last resort

i have all of these and p95
take your pick and see what you like best thats the best thing i can tell you

Alright thanks. I have every single one of these except aida64 lol. But I'll use LinX. I just wasn't sure if there was one SPECIFICALLY for the CPU-NB.

You can also use HyperPi to check for CPU-NB stabilty.

BTW guys, don't want to start another thread but my question is as follows. Any help would be appreciated!

I've got the MSI 870A G54 with Phenom 720 c2 with Ripjaw 1600 MHz (2*2) memory.

No matter what I do, I cannot get the memory run at 1600 MHz. It's either the c2 Phenom or my board cannot run the memory at 1600 Mhz.

Max I could get stable is;

FSB: 230
CPU: 230*15 (3450)
NB: 2300
HTLink: 2070
Memory: 766 (1533) (7-8-7-24)

3Dmark benchmarks show an improvement with the mentioned spec over a standart 3500 MHz CPU, just overclocking the CPU multi.
Is the increased memory speed (even though it's not 1600) and the increased CPU-NB frequency really an improvement on real world applications, or it's just for benchmark stuff and won't make a difference on gaming?

Thanks in advance!

Get the CPU-NB speed as high as you can stable, it helps with everything you do with your computer, including helping in the fps department.

shoot for 2600-2800 CPU-NB speed if you can.
