GTX 560 SLI, which card to go with?

Thread Starter
Hi guys,

so yeah, I already have an Inno3D GTX 560 (clocked at 822) reference card installed in my pc, and I wanted to buy another.

The question is, should I get another Inno3D card or go with something like the Gigabyte OC or Asus DirectCU II which basically cost the same as the Inno3D? Which one will work best?

Please note my PSU is a 700w Cougar 80+ Silver certificate.

Get a MSI Twin Frozr II or a DirectCUII.

That's a stupid idea. The MSI and ASUS versions both get higher OCs than the Gigabyte, and they are much cooler.

Last question.

There are 2 types of the Asus one, the DirectCU II TOP edition & the standard DirectCU II.

The TOP edition is slightly overclocked to 900/1800, but would it even benefit when my other card is only 822/1644?

I had the gigabyte version, It did 1000mhz @ 1.05 (1050 in afterburner, whatever that means) and it was near silent, even at load
if you are in the UK mine is for sale in the For Sale section

Get the non-TOP version. In SLI the cards will run at the speed of the slower card. So it would downclock to 822 anyway. Even if you plan on overclocking the TOP version is a waste of $ because you just pay for the factory to OC the card.
