New laptop HD is a mess from ASUS

So my new ASUS i7 laptop arrives

and I start doing my thing with it
Deleting bloatware, clearing out junk and installing my own software and
I notice the HD has partitions -

one marked C:OS @75GB and one marked D: DATA@200GB
mind you its a 320GB HD - im thinking ***........

Why do I have a DATA partition, the recovery partitan is hidden and
this is just not what I want at all.........

I want 2 partitions Recovery and C:Main.......

How for the life of me do I rearrange this ASUS highschool mess ?

This is why I hate buying a computer without my own clean install of W7
is there a way I can clean out everything and do a clean install of W7,is there a way to change up the HD space?

IRRITATED !

Just do a clean install of W7 if you're worried about it.
Should be able to delete the partitions from the installer screen.

You could always remove the DATA partition and extend your OS partition to fill the rest of the drive if you are too lazy to fresh format.

Buy a 64GB ssd for it and OEM windows

But seriously, grab yourself the free 30 day trial of windows from whatever source you like, then use the CDkey from the laptop.

format the drive into 1 big partition.

My asus laptop before SSD had 160gb C, 145GB D drive, and a 10gb recovery one.

If you right click My Computer, click manage, then Disk Management, you can manage the partitions from there by right clicking them.

It only lets you shrink since there is no free unallocated disk space..
In order to reinstall Windows you would need an installation DVD.
