which 2500k bundle to go for?

Thread Starter
hi,

I'm doing my first build and think i'm going to buy one of the pre-built overclocked bundles from Aria. The GPU will be a 6950 unlocked to 6970 and I'll be looking to add another in crossfire in the future.

I was just wondering which of the following I should get. What is the performance difference is likely to be compared with the price difference? Here's the choices I have:

£412... Water-Cooled Intel® 2nd Generation Core™ i5-2500K Overclocked @ 4.50GHz, Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD3P Intel P67 (REV B3) Socket 1155 DDR3 PCI-Express Motherboard, 4GB Mushkin Blackline #996659B (2x2GB) DDR3 1600MHz 9-9-9-24, Arianet ECO II 120 Water-Cooling CPU Cooler w/ 1x 120mm Be Quiet! Silent Wings USC Fan.

£402... Intel® 2nd Generation Core™ i5-2500K Overclocked @ 4.60GHz, MSI P67A-GD55 Intel P67 (REV B3) Socket 1155 DDR3 PCI-Express Motherboard, 4GB Mushkin Blackline #996659B (2x2GB) DDR3 1600MHz 9-9-9-24, Be Quiet! Dark Rock Advanced CPU Cooler

£379... Intel® 2nd Generation Core™ i5-2500K Overclocked @ 4.50GHz, MSI P67A-GD53 Intel P67 (REV B3) Socket 1155 DDR3 PCI-Express Motherboard, 4GB Mushkin Silverline #996768 (2x2GB) DDR3 1333MHz 9-9-9-24, Gelid Tranquillo CPU Cooler

£323... Intel® 2nd Generation Core™ i5-2500K Overclocked @ 4.40GHz, MSI P67A-G45 Intel P67 (REV B3) Socket 1155 DDR3 PCI-Express Motherboard, 4GB Mushkin Silverline #996768 (2x2GB) DDR3 1333MHz 9-9-9-24, Arctic Cooling Freezer 13 High Performance CPU Cooler.

All on here: http://www.aria.co.uk/Systems/Bundle...ocked+Bundles/

please let me know why you would choose which bundle... thanks

i woudl go with option 1 because
gigabyte has way better vrms for ocing
its water cooled (not necessary but you probably can get to 5ghz easy with it wc)
cons:
the second pci express 2.0 is at 4x speed so there will be a huge problem when you cf with bottlenecking

if you are content on setting up crossfire then go with option 2
