You must have me mistaken, because this is the first thread you've responded to me on and I also did not get a PM.

I am not spewing garbage. All I said was the card "melting" crap was ridiculous. The current drivers are fine, and there are ways to tweak the voltage if you're not using the beta drivers (the one before also has the OCP control in it).

Other than that, what the hell else did I say?

I haven't come to terms with with my decision? Meaning, I don't agree with YOUR viewpoints? That's laughable.

I had GTX 480s in SLI prior to deciding to get a 590. I loved my 480s; they were very, very hard to part with. But since my case doesn't have the room to support a watercooling setup and I didn't have the cash to get a new case + watercooling gear + blocks, going that route wasn't an option.

I also didn't want 580s in SLI, cause they would present the same problems and also cost more.

I got tired of the insane noise and heat of my 480s because I *had* to have them OC'd, and thus had to run the fans pretty high. As a result, I also used a tremendous amount of power with my OCs. I got a 590 because it solved those above issues, and for me and my SINGLE MONITOR setup, it's more than enough performance.

And you're trying to tell me how USELESS it is? Or how much it does or doesn't fit my needs? I know you're enjoying your non-chalant responses, but again, get off your high horse.

And yes, my GTX 480s perform at or higher than GTX 580 levels.
First of all, you haven't proven a thing about the 480's.

You've proven that a dual GPU card responds poorly to benches when EVGA tech JACOB himself stated there were KNOWN ISSUES WITH THOSE BENCHES.

Again spreading misinformation like the plague.

You quote a forum in which the techs acknowledge driver issues with benches...and then spout that off in your next post...SERIOUSLY?

You need to go back to the 6th grade and get some comprehension under your belt before this discussion can continue.

You're trying to convince me that an Antec Twelve Hundred (which I own) couldn't fit two GTX 480s with aftermarket coolers that cost 50$?

And so, you spent 700$ to DOWNGRADE your performance just because the stock cooler on the GTX 590 is slightly less noisy when not overclocked than the GTX 480s if you hadn't overclocked them?

You're high on something.. that's all I know.

So you're saying that the drivers were SO bad that GTX 590 Quad SLi performed worse than GTX 590 performs now?

It's like you live in the land of Oz or something.

I never said the 580, I said the 480...Mentioned it several times.

The cards you apparently have on your machine w/1x for Physx.

The 590 most certainly out-performs SLI and TRI-SLI 480's in DX10/11 applications/games.

You really need to up your comprehension, seriously.

EVGA has stated MANY times on their forum, the source you quoted, that there are SEVERE issues with the 590 and benching.

It's not working properly...Not only that, the drivers for the 480's have had a year + to mature.

The only thing you've proven is your bias against the 590; NOTHING more.

I don't understand what your problem is besides the fact you fail to comprehend ANYTHING said on EVGA's forums...

Is it a hear no evil see no evil thing or ignorance?

How can you be this dumb?!

My GTX 480s are OVERCLOCKED. Thus, they perform HIGHER than the GTX 580s in that benchmark.

You're so stupid it makes my head hurt!

God, it's like talking to the wall.

SO YOU'RE SAYING THAT THE DRIVERS ARE SO BAD IN THAT BENCHMARK THAT GTX 590 QUAD SLI PERFORMS WORSE THAN GTX 590 SHOULD PERFORM/PERFORMS NOW?!?!!?

I don't care if they're overclocked or not...Your comparison is flawed because it's broken.

If you choose to compare your performance against something that common knowledge states is BROKEN and your source states IS BROKEN then you sir have some extremely serious comprehension issues.

In 6th grade we're taught that comparisons between like objects are possible...These are not like objects because 1 of them is broken.

Honestly, why must I explain to you that you can't compare something working 100% to something that's broken? Really?
