Asus P8P67 Pro and Deluxe

Thread Starter
Hello,
I'm upgrading and going from 1055t to i7-2600k And I have been looking for good MotherBoards. I Decided to go with P8P67 Deluxe, But I have seen many people use the "Pro" Version and not the Deluxe version. So I was wondering what are the major diferences? I would be OCing like crazy with this new i7. Will it make any diference in terms of OCing?

If it helps, I'll be upgrading to HD6850 CF, 8Gb 1600 Ram as well. What will be better? Pro or deluxe?

Thanks-!

There really isn't much of a difference between the Deluxe and Pro. Mainly:

Deluxe gets dual gigabit lan
Deluxe has better VRM and phase cooling (subtle at best)
Deluxe has front panel USB 3.0 box (vs back panel one on the Pro)
Deluxe has 16+2 instead of 12+2 power phases (not much of a difference, imho)
Deluxe costs almost $50 more

IDK, I'd say save the $50 and get the Pro, unless you want the best of the best and don't mind paying for it. Just my 2c. GL~

I don't have any problems with mine, the only problem that was huge before was the double posts but that was fixed in the b3.

I do want the WS Revolution though haha

Lol, I do want the WS rev too.. But that's outside my budget! Maybe save a bit more and Buy WS Rev...

At what Sushi said, Yes.. He seems to be right, I have been checking Pro too just hours ago, And I found out it seems to have problems.. I'll keep trace on how the B3 chance this problems.. If B3 fix all the problems, I'll go for Pro and not deluxe..

Maybe you find more pro owners with problems because there are more of them.

u can see only 58% of Pro`s buyer gave this board 4-5 eggs, which logiclly is not even passable

86% of the deluxe`s buyer gave it 4-5 stars and this board seem to be bought more than the pro if u check the number of review on newegg.

Take newegg reviews with a grain of salt. Ask people on the forums if they had problems with the board. IMHO, that will be a more accurate represenation of the board. Just my 2c.
