Sorry to resurrect this thread, but I felt I shouldn't open another one when my question has been somewhat discussed in here already.

I am debating whether to buy two 560 Ti 2GB or two 6950 2GB (and sell my 560 Twin frozr). The 6950 would be non-reference so unlikely to unlock and I'm not really counting on it.

I couldn't find any benchmarks of Palit's 560 ti 2GB version so I'm wondering whether anyone could help me make a decision between it and the 6950.

Something to keep in mind, I can get the 560's for $199 each, whereas the 6950 would cost me around $260 each. If the 6950 is more powerful than the 560 Ti, would it justify a $60 price premium?

Also, since my board isn't SLI certified, would it be very tedious to keep drivers up to date with the SLI hack?

And, another thing to keep in mind, I want to buy a multi display setup in about a month, so I'm not sure whether eyefinity or surround is the way to go

Thanks, hopefully someone can help me out.

I was using the sli patch for a while and they makers of it always seemed to keep it pretty up to date. Nvidia would put out a new driver that would stop the patch, but then the makers of it would just make a work around within days. So no issue there unless they stop all of a sudden. So I guess it comes down to if you like nvidia drivers more or amd. I've heard good things about amd multi monitor support.
