And yes I have Sapphire TRIXX in the background
Yes, Sapphire TRIXX also causes the crash. Try playing BC2 with it closed, I'm willing to bet that will solve your problem.

Many of us were having the same issue in this thread: http://www.overclock.net/pc-games/96...ashing-my.html

I haven't encountered BC2 crash yet with Fraps running. But yeah it's good thing to know that your problem is solved.

Just thought I would bump this thread in case anyone is still having this problem that uses a gigabyte mobo, I was having bsod in bc2 for like a month now, and finally figured out that EasyTune6 is creating problems with punkbuster I believe. So uninstall et6 and it should be all good.

Sorry to bump this but are there any OCing programs that will run with BFBC2 then? I mean, i keep having crashes and i have been running Sapphire Trixx in the background with it. and i would much rather let my card run at 900 like it is.
it's definitely trixx that's doing it.

set your OC, then turn off the program (trixx). It leaves the OC active.

it crashes everytime i leave trixx, gpu-z on in the background. fraps doesn't cause an issue.

just remember to always turn off trixx or gpu-z when playing multiplayer. I think when you play single player mode it's fine. It's something to do with Punkbuster.

BFBC2 is F'in AMAZING!
