He was referring to the guy who said he'd rather have a gtx 480 lightning for $10 more.

I would rather have a 570 over a 480 for the same price if the 570 have a non-reference PCB.

Also, the TFIII 570 is not a lightning model, but that doesnt mean its reference pcb...

JUST REALIZED SOMETHING

The newegg listing lists it is a PE/OC edition.

All of MSI's previous PE (power Edition) models have a custom PCB, often having a higher end 6+2 pahse power system.

I would bet that this is on a custom PCB.

On par if super fully overclocked, yes I believe so. Same as a fully overclocked 570.

I can't believe I did it, but I just bought one off newegg (theres 4 more in stock as we speak).

I will be making a new thread when it arrives complete with an unboxing. I refuse to remove the cooler, but is there a way to tell if it has more power phases from the back of the PCB?

Its safe to say if the PCB is non ref. It will have more VRM's ( that was for you Nvidia )

Awesome! I love the Twin Frozr design. My 460 Hawks used to whisper... my 560s don't seem to know how to use their "inside voices."

I had a TFII 560 and it has a weird fan sound. Like turbulence. Bothered me more than just the loudness of my galaxy 570.

Hopefully An unboxing of an unannounced card will get me some Rep lol, I need to start selling things here!
