Here's some PSU compatibility info that you should add to your first post. Assuming that each brand of PSU has the same input orientation as the other models from that company, this is what you get.

PSU brands that will work with the RV03:

SilverStone
Raidmax
Apevia
Thermaltake
Logisys
Rosewill
Hec
Sunbeam

PSU brands that won't work with the RV03:
Corsair
OCZ(it may work)
Antec
Seasonic

The above list is from the mention assumption and the samples are from one page of the most reviewed PSU's on NewEgg.com. It feels like i'm working for SilverStone, since i'm making a compatibility list for the RV03. Sadly, the better brands won't work with this case.

Note:
When i say "won't work", i mean that it wont work with the fan in the optimal position which is facing down.

And my question to Balthazor is: Do you know of any PSU's that are as good as my Seasonic? And it must have a 5 year + warranty.

Yuck, sounds like the RV03 fails just for this reason

The new Thermaltake Toughpower Grand 1200w has a 7 year warranty. No reviews on it yet, though, at least from what I've seen.

I assume you are referring to the PSU fan. If you try to mount a PSU in this case that has an intake fan facing up, it will not get air. The PSU fits in the PSU compartment flush around the edges on top, with a small 1/16" recessed section above the PSU that does not have any air intake. I'll take a picture and show later.

That's why i'm starting to think im stuck with the RV2. The best brands have the "wrong" orientation

And you don't need any intake fans in a case either. What I'm saying is, you will get better performance from certain configuration/orientations. And in my "case", the RV2 might be a better choice than the RV3 with my current PSU because of the compatibility(or optimum PSU orientation) issue.

Edit: Balthazor, did you confirm the OCZ PSU's wont work? They have a quite a different orientation than any other PSU. Check out the link in my original post.

A 1200W is completely OVERKILL for me. The highest ill get is a 900W, and the lowest a 750W. This is just how overkill it is:

That OCZ PSU won't work. If the socket was flipped the other way, it would, or if the socket was much closer to the other side of the PSU, but as it is, no.

The Grand series has some lower wattage PSUs as well, and I assume they are all 7 year warranties. It is a new series, though, so no one knows just how good/bad they are. Historically Thermaltake gets more right than wrong, though.

I would have gone with a Thermaltake Grand if I there was even one review out about them. At least this Silverstone unit I ordered has a couple of reviews (and by couple, I mean two, that I found.) And it fared well, but only a three warranty.

I end up changing my PSU well before that in many cases, anyway.

Cases, get it?

Most of the PSU manufacturers don't make them all the same. Your blanket assessment of brands that will work and won't work is a little misinforming, (even with your disclaimer ). In less than 5 minutes I found PSU's from 3 of the 4 companies on your "wont work" list that do appear to work, and 2 will work quite well. ABS being another that should work.

OCZ ZX series 850/1000w 80+gold cert. 175mm 5yr warranty
ABS Majesty series 900/1100w 80+gold cert. 165mm 3yr warranty
Antec TruPower Quattro 1000w 80+bronze cert. 180mm 5yr warranty
Antec High Current Pro 1200w 80+gold cert. 180mm 5yr warranty (the Antec's don't even have top or bottom fans)

Those are all enthusiast grade.

The Corsair CX600 was another I found, but this is a lower end PSU.

So I imagine there are many from the brands on the "will work" list that in fact won't work.

I'm just lucky I guess. I ordered the OCZ ZX 1000w not 3 days ago. I wasn't planning on getting RV03 even though I've wanted it for a while and ordered the Corsair 600T because I've been waiting long enough to put a new system together. I've learned that waiting for PC stuff is a catch 22. By the time stuff is available, something newer and better is coming out, so then you wait for that. Its a vicious cycle-lol. I'm building a rig for my little Bro shortly though, so when I do get my hands on a RV03, he'll be getting the 600T. I'm still waiting for those damn EVGA GTX 580 3GB's to show up anyway- hahaha, vicious cycle.

You are partially correct. I am going to take the brand-wide list off my post.

However, you are incorrect about a few of your PSUs that you think are compatible. It isn't about fan orientation only; is also about socket orientation. If you read my post you'll see that I specifically tried a HCP-1200 and it wouldn't work.

EDIT: I had time to go through the other specific PSUs you listed, and the Antec HCP is the only one that wouldn't work. The other ones would.

Thank you for spotting the error regarding the assumptions on brand-wide compatibility.
